Spatialedge

A low-cost experiment to land 1-3 enterprise clients.

What we understand

Spatialedge has 135 engineers and 25 PhDs delivering data engineering, predictive analytics, and AI systems that make experienced practitioners say "wait, you guys can do that?" You've saturated the South African market and raised $5M for expansion. Juan's early US deals have proven the model — a customer doubled their spend unprompted and asked why it was so cheap.

The gap is commercial. Pricing is a fraction of market rate. The sales function is maturing. You need enterprise clients in the US and Europe without committing to a full team on the ground.

What we'd do

Build account plans, not just a pipeline — Mike built idea factories at AWS for Meta, Netflix, and Salesforce — mapping capabilities to 20+ project ideas per customer, identifying tip-of-spear products, and building the commercial roadmap that turns a first deal into a long-term relationship. We'd do the same with Spatialedge's 40 case studies and 12+ products.

Land and expand together — Juan lands deals through product sales and direct relationships. We expand — consultative sales, deeper engagement, properly priced follow-on work. This plays to both strengths and means you get enterprise revenue without enterprise sales overhead.

Help you charge what you're worth — Your current customer compared you to Deloitte ($60k/week, less complexity) and McKinsey ($3M, 12 people on site). The work Spatialedge delivers commands premium pricing. We have deep experience positioning and pricing high-value technical services so project values match delivery quality.

Open doors in Europe — We're based in Berlin, Amsterdam, and Dusseldorf with active relationships at Siemens Mobility, Lufthansa Technik, Kubota, and BMW. Your data engineering and predictive analytics stories translate directly to these companies. One major European client is already asking for multi-country rollout — we'd help make that repeatable.

Who we are

Goose Group is a small, strategic team. Alex Finnemore — PhD Physics (Cambridge), former Chief Partnerships Officer at .Monks (7,500 people), Head of Revenue at TheoremOne (scaled to $57m+, co-led exit). $140m+ in enterprise services revenue. South African. Mike Joyce — five years at AWS running innovation incubators for Meta, Netflix, Salesforce. ~$4B ARR impact. Built platforms at Nike, AT&T, Cast&Crew.

We've been working with Juan and see the same thing he does: Spatialedge's delivery is extraordinary, and the commercial opportunity is wide open. We're proposing a low-cost experiment — get you 1-3 enterprise clients in 3-6 months — as proof that this model works before anyone commits to a larger structure.
