Goose Group works between executive intent, real workflows, and technical delivery. People here need enough range to understand a messy operating problem, make it concrete, build something useful, and help a customer own what comes next.
The Work
A week can include mapping a claims workflow, reading a codebase, turning a transcript into a decision brief, building an internal tool, reviewing a prototype with operators, and helping a sponsor choose what deserves more investment.
The product is capability: a customer can do something useful, repeatable, visible, and owned that they could not do before. Our tools and methodology exist to help create that outcome.
The Range We Need
Technical systems. You can build and debug working software: integrations, pipelines, data flows, internal tools, interfaces, and the infrastructure they need.
Product and business judgment. You can distinguish the stated request from the operating problem, choose a useful first slice, and explain the tradeoffs to a responsible decision-maker.
Facilitation and communication. You can work directly with executives, operators, subject-matter experts, and technical teams. You leave behind clearer context and better artifacts, not another translation layer.
Nobody is equally strong in all three. Strong candidates bring evidence in at least two and the curiosity to develop the third.
What We Look For
- Useful artifacts. You can show something you built, changed, clarified, or made easier for someone else.
- Comfort with incomplete context. You ask the questions that reduce uncertainty and begin with a bounded useful move.
- Judgment about quality and risk. You know when a quick artifact is appropriate and when the workflow deserves more rigor.
- AI fluency. You use current tools naturally while retaining responsibility for evidence, source material, and the result.
- Contribution. You bring the draft, clarify the decision, remove the blocker, or improve the machinery for the next person.
- Autonomy without isolation. You can own a workstream and make your reasoning visible enough for others to review and continue.
How We Work
Small teams. Direct customer contact. Remote and async-friendly, with concentrated working sessions when the work benefits from them. Senior people remain close to discovery, decisions, and implementation.
We care less about a particular title or career path than evidence that you can move between understanding and building. The best application gives us something concrete to discuss: a system, tool, workflow, analysis, or practice you created and what it changed.
